I don't know if they are hiring, but I have worked there. I can only speak for myself, but they did not provide me with enough work to work a part-time shift, and I was on 4 accounts, not including my primary. They have a tier scale, so if you don't make production, you make about .06 cpl. No communication from supervisors, and when you need to ask a question about something, it was pointless. QA, well they were just nasty! I caught a couple of things that QA had done wrong, pointed it out in a nice manner, and boy was I punished! I have been a transcriptionist for almost 20 years and I can say they were the worst ever!

having enough work, ever. When they implemented the revised pay scale (slanted for their benefit I believe), I left. They will give you as many accounts as you want. But those accounts don't have work either. I never took issue with QA, though. But if you want money, like the other poster said, RUN.

Was hired by them and my gut told me to be doubtful and stay put. I did and within a couple days of that someone was posting on here that they had just been hired by them too and were sitting there with no work. Search the archives here, they seem to enjoy over-hiring, and I believe they do it so they never have to pay benefits! With them, if you don't make your hours/lines they cancel your health insurance, etc. I'd run away as fast as you can, in my opinion!
The only possible reason they could be hiring is because everyone else is leaving because of no work! But still... for going on 4 weeks now, two different "pools" have remained mostly empty day and night. I am so glad to be getting out of there. ...

I applied and passed all of the testing for eTransplus as advertised on the Job Seekers Board but haven't heard anything back.
Did anyone else apply and hear back yet?
Just curious since I expected to hear back after successfully jumping through all of their hoops....er, passing all of their tests ;-) ...

health records someday soon. You have to get fingerprinted, get your background investiagated and pay for a retro hunk of foot pedal and then they short your pays.

Is there enough work during 3rd shift? Is the platform easy to use and easy to get your lines in with? How is the health insurance? I saw the premiums for the different levels but didn't see what type of coverage this is (deductible, copays, etc.). Right now I am so devastated and upset I don't know what to do. Etransplus, the people whom I work for fulltime (I work part-time for Medquist) was acquired by Medquist. I am new to MedQuist via the eTransPlus buyout. Reading all these posts is truly scary. I know people that are rather happy tend not to post as much (hopefully they are too busy working!), but is anyone, I mean ANYONE, happy or at least not ready to jump off a tall building working for MedQuist? I am trying hard not to panic just yet, but it is getting harder!

Have any other eTransPlus MTs noticed it being harder to get their lines recently? I just doubled check and for a 46 line document in Word, I was credited with 32 lines in EXT. Before it seems like both counts were equal. Just wondering if any else has noticed this and what is going on. TIA! ...
