Global Info Systems deceiving on DoD Contract statement and others - nm

The statement they posted earlier in MTStars about the Dept of Defense is incorrect. DPTS won the contract. Global is a "subcontractor" of DPTS. Therefore, DPTS is 1 of 4 companies proven, not GIS. Also, it shows on the website that the CEO is Indian and their other office is in India, so yes, it is OWNED by an Indian. Also, they started out in the post stating "THEY" and "anonymous" then put "See you at the conference", etc. Shows that you are the management trying to deceive the public and some are falling for it. Their website also states transcriptionists have an average of 15 years. Not many transcriptionists with that much experience are willing to work for 5 cpl. If they do it is because they just need a LITTLE extra money to help with retirement, not to make a living for a family. You can tell by posts on here what people really think. The positive ones are obviously from someone with an invested interest in the company. The post showing "they" and then "us" is proof that they do this. Very sad for transcription. Companies like this are the ones who are bringing down the transcription world. See link attached.

You know they all have loopholes, right? If they have a US office, incorporated in the US, they are then a US company.

IMedX principles are guys who I know have been in bed with India for years. But that doesn't mean they wont be making money off that DoD contract. They simply will say they are a US-based and incorporated company and that they wont use offshore labor. Do you really think the DoD will follow up on that to be sure? Cheap is cheap.

BTW, I've worked for GIS in the past and if you get decent dictators, you can make money at 5cpl. Thing is, the faves get the decent dictators and the rest get the crapshoot.

I am just stating that they are trying to deceive the transcriptionists. They themselves did not win the contract. They are a subcontractor to another company who won the acct. And the comments they made in the report that I attached a link to shows the manipulation. They kept using the word "they" and trying to be anonymous, but later on stated join "US" and "WE" will do this... so they were trying to be sneaky. Just do not like the deception they were handing out.

And all they have to do is say they will not use that labor force to do government work. Is the government going to check?

I did QA for them, I know they offshore and I know they play favorites with the work.

The military has no way to really check, neither do the hospitals that they promise. I know some are voice rec and some stays in the US. As a facility that gets their work done by them, there is no way to know. You can change the MTs name from a foreign name to an English one and they have no clue. It is only their word.

Can someone that works or has worked for GIS please explain this to me? I was offered a position for straight typing at GIS. I was told that the pay is only 5 cpl, despite years of experience. I was told by the recruiter that it is 90% template work and my average pay would be 15 cpl and that is why they could only offer the 5 cpl. Is this true? I really need a job, but can't imagine how to make money with 5 cpl. ...

I saw a message asking if anyone knew anything about Global informations Systems. I worked for them in the past. My advice is to not take a job with them. They never give raises and the line count pay is so low it is rediculous. They outsource to India. Lastly the training they provide is nonexistent. Worked for Superior Global Systems out of Texas 2 years ago--hired full-time, benefits, etc. HR said there was tons of work and that soon the real "floodgates would open" and there'd be even more work on a new account for which they were hiring. Ha! There was no work. Period. Supervisor stated there had just been a "lull" in new account work just as I was hired, but it would be resolved shortly...it was resolved all right--after "working" or scrambling/"fighting" with other newly hired fool ...
