they are a decent company. The work is not always there. Then there are times when we are swamped. The pay is in the range of normal compared to all other companies. Some accounts going to VR soon, so you should think about that. Don't do it so don't know the pay rates for that.
Hmmm which ones? - Curious

Do you know which types of accounts are going to VR? Acute care? or other specialty?

...do they help you get some more work (i.e., you get a secondary account)? This may sound obvious, but some companies are more helpful in this regard than others.

How they can post an ad for new MTs when there has been no work for 3 months is confusing.
After reading archives on ProScript, it sounds like a company in transition. Any more current information. Pay rates for VR, platform (I believe ad said eScription/EditScript), happy, unhappy? Anything that would help. I really need a part-time job to pay the mortgage. Thanks ...
Can anyone tell me what this company is like to work for? I don't find anything in the archives, and they have a position posted on the job board.
I'd like to know how they pay, if they have steady work, what platform they use, etc. Also, do they have straight transcription in addition to VR?
TIA ...
Does anyone know anything about ProScript Documentation Services and if they are any good to work for? Wondering if I should apply........Thanks for any info! ...
Does anyone currently work at Alliance Health Documentation Services in Bangor, ME? Wondering how the company is and how management is, etc. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you. ...
The company I work for provides no documentation of what they are paying me for, not even on my pay stub. There is a way to check on the system but it isn't consistent with what I get paid. Any comments? ...
submission line count is calculated? Number of characters in the words filled in by QA divided by total pay period line count? Number of characters in the document submitted? Knowing MQ, it's probably the latter. So... if I submit 1 report with a 90 line count doc and 1 word, I'm dinged more than five 10 line count docs with 2 lines (i.e., 130 characters) of blanks in each? There are doctors with such bad accents+mumbling in my group that they can end up w ...
I work in a surgery center/clinic in medical transcription. I have never worked in the medical field before, so I'm not sure what is acceptable. We get massive amounts of documentation errors from the nurses in the surgery center and in the clinic. Is this usually acceptable?! Is it normal for a transcriptionist to be required to scan over the chart and correct all of their errors or should this be the responsibility of the nursing staff? It's DRIVING me up a wall! I'd say 75 ...
Does anyone know if Proscript Documentation is the same company as Proscript? I once worked for Proscript and I just applied at Proscript Documentation and took their test and realized it was the same account I worked on with the other PS. Are they related? I know Proscript does overflow work and I am wondering if they are a subsidiary of PS Documentation. ...
I dont mean where to find them if you've been written up, but how PM actually works, how they decide when to put you on PM, the levels, etc.? I can't seem to find anything about it anywhere. ...
from years ago? I'm going through all my paperwork to find something that says we were to do a certain lines per hour, and at 98% quality. If they change the stakes, it isn't our fault that we do not meet their new standards. I'm thinking in terms of getting fired from a hostile environment and claiming constructive termination. ...
I think any law that forbids offshoring of American medical documentation would have to be very thorough to address a number of potential problems. In keeping with this, I have a list below of some that I've thought might come up under such a law unless they are specifically addressed. These are possible loop holes that could really mess things up. 1. It would create a sudden demand for many more MTs in this country. That's awesome, obviously, but I fear this may cause medical pr ...
Hello, I am currently a HDS student and have a few questions about what happens after post graduation.
What is the lowest, medium, and highest pay that an HDS gets a week, month and year for Nuance?

Has anyone worked for InHealth Clinical Documentation Solutions
If so please let me know your thoughts and feedback. I am looking to apply and want a heads up of all the good, bad, and ugly (if any) Thanks!!! ...
I worked for them for a bit over a month. During that period of time, I was involved in a move, and they required a VPN, as did the other company that I was working for at the time. When I moved to my new location, I was on a DSL line and of course, off the internet for about 2 days or so. At that time, I was using Word 2003. During my "hiatus" from the move, and when I got on line, I received an email from them, that I needed to update. Well, the "update" did not w ...
If you feel you are being abused and want to do something about it, you probably need to be documenting the problem.
Concerns that have been mentioned on this board include: Some have mentioned having no work available but being required to work outside of their scheduled hours in order to complete their required line count. Some have been a victim of an unfair pay system in which they have had their pay reduced because they have such difficult dictators/intermittent work that they are una ...
Ahima certainly gives it a different spin than MT, and an article at Study.com lists desired or common requirements as associate's or bachelor's degree, with nursing, HIM, or health information technology, and medical coding expertise.
So where does Nuance get off expecting "lowly" MTs to do this stuff, with 100% flawless accuracy, on lowly MT pay having to Google everything? I mean, they do not even pay us enough to be "lowly" MTs, and yet expect us to Google and verify that do ...
Looking for info on the above company located in Georgia. If you would care to share your experience working there, pros and cons, please post. Thank you. ...
