I just tested with them and thought the transcription test was difficult, there was one ESL report that I really struggled with. There was a written test which I passed but they told me I didn't pass the transcription test. I don't know anything about their accounts/shifts/pay, I applied out of the blue. You could give them a try if you want employee status.
I have worked for them - Old School MT

I have worked for DSG and I found them to be a very reasonable company. I had to take employee status instead of IC, but they were always willing to work around my schedule and my illness at that time. The communication is very good between management and employees and their technical support is great. The pay was reasonable for my experience and my bosses were very supportive during my training. Be careful on line commitment though because they expect you to adhere to quota requirements and they are strict about this. Overall, even though I am no longer with them....I would say they are a very good company to work for.
That was just this past December when I left the company, so only a few months ago. - Old School MT

Documentation Services Group Sep 13, 2011Can anyone tell me what this company is like to work for? I don't find anything in the archives, and they have a position posted on the job board.
I'd like to know how they pay, if they have steady work, what platform they use, etc. Also, do they have straight transcription in addition to VR?

Anybody Know Where Any Documentation Regarding Exactly How The QA Mar 20, 2010submission line count is calculated? Number of characters in the words filled in by QA divided by total pay period line count? Number of characters in the document submitted? Knowing MQ, it's probably the latter. So... if I submit 1 report with a 90 line count doc and 1 word, I'm dinged more than five 10 line count docs with 2 lines (i.e., 130 characters) of blanks in each? Documentation Errors Sep 15, 2010I work in a surgery center/clinic in medical transcription. I have never worked in the medical field before, so I'm not sure what is acceptable. We get massive amounts of documentation errors from the nurses in the surgery center and in the clinic. Is this usually acceptable?! Is it normal for a transcriptionist to be required to scan over the chart and correct all of their errors or should this be the responsibility of the nursing staff? It's DRIVING me up a wall! I'd say 75 ...
Proscript Documentation Sep 16, 2010Does anyone know if Proscript Documentation is the same company as Proscript? I know Proscript does overflow work and I am wondering if they are a subsidiary of PS Documentation. ...

ProScript Documentation Services May 27, 2010After reading archives on ProScript, it sounds like a company in transition. Any more current information. Do Any MQ Employees Have Original Documentation May 22, 2011from years ago? I'm going through all my paperwork to find something that says we were to do a certain lines per hour, and at 98% quality. Domestic Medical Documentation Act Apr 23, 2014I think any law that forbids offshoring of American medical documentation would have to be very thorough to address a number of potential problems. In keeping with this, I have a list below of some that I've thought might come up under such a law unless they are specifically addressed. These are possible loop holes that could really mess things up. 1. It would create a sudden demand for many more MTs in this country. That's awesome, obviously, but I fear this may cause medical pr ...

AHD - ADBA Alliance Healthcare Documentation Oct 26, 2014I worked for them for a bit over a month. During that period of time, I was involved in a move, and they required a VPN, as did the other company that I was working for at the time. When I moved to my new location, I was on a DSL line and of course, off the internet for about 2 days or so. At that time, I was using Word 2003. During my "hiatus" from the move, and when I got on line, I received an email from them, that I needed to update. Well, the "update" did not w ...

Documentation Of Employer Harassment And Abuse. Apr 01, 2015If you feel you are being abused and want to do something about it, you probably need to be documenting the problem.

Some have been a victim of an unfair pay system in which they have had their pay reduced because they have such difficult dictators/intermittent work that they are una ...
