I worked for them for a bit over a month. During that period of time, I was involved in a move, and they required a VPN, as did the other company that I was working for at the time. When I moved to my new location, I was on a DSL line and of course, off the internet for about 2 days or so. At that time, I was using Word 2003. During my "hiatus" from the move, and when I got on line, I received an email from them, that I needed to update. Well, the "update" did not work. I went from a cable connection, at a friends with NO PROBLEMS, to a DSL connection. I was told by techs with my local phone carrier, that the 2 VPNs were conflicting. I was told by the AHD tech, to uninstall and reinstall their VPN. This went on for 3 days. Fast forward a bit to "their update," and the 4th of July holiday. Their "tech person" was too concerned about the upcoming holiday, and trying to get an answer from her was like pulling teeth. Rather than deal with the problem THEY created (my question the whole period of time was did I need 2007 rather than 2003), they chose to terminate me. I NEVER did get a "straight answer" from them, just that "it was my fault." In my humble opinion, VERY unprofessional in the way they handled things. I would receive emails from them regarding the workload, even though I had been terminated for over 2 months. I finally had to explain in "language that they understood," that I had been terminated and to quit sending me emails as far as workload etc. Basically, I felt that there was NO organization whatsoever.
