Could anyone tell me anything positive or negative about Medscribe? - Kiki1

Also, apparently there are 2 offices, one on Florida and one in NJ? Are these the same company or do you have to apply separately?

Any info you could share would be SO appreciated. TIA :)

I wouldn't advise working for the one in NJ. I worked there for a short period. The QA manager is ignorant and rude. I was fired because I transcribed rotator cuff interval tear in a report, as dictated. She told me it that the term is rotator cuff integral tear, which, of course, I replied is incorrect. After that, the office manager told me I didn't have a job. It's never a good idea to have a QA person who is unlearned, and this company seemed to have been specializing in that.

OK..... It's an orthopedic chart note. Patient has a chief complaint of hip pain. Dictated: He has a negative [s/l fair, fairs, varus?] sign, a negative fabere sign. It doesn't sound like fadir; I'm not hearing that "d." I already had to leave two medication blanks and hate to leave another one for an orthopedic sign that I feel like I should know! Anyone know what is going on with Medscribe? There has been little to no work for weeks now with promises of more work coming in. I know they have lost a few accounts but even the accounts still there seem to be dictating a lot less than what they normally do so I wonder if they are headed on their way out too. Today I heard a rumor they might be sending work to another company to handle overflow and that is why the work has dried up. Has anyone else heard this? I can't be ...
