Does anyone have any information on/opinions about MedScribe, Inc?

Which one? There is more than one place - with this name. nm

Said at bottom they were in New Albany, Indiana. MedScribe, Inc. They are trying to fill an IC position. I am actually thinking of getting a C phone and learning "Word" -(is it hard to learn?-always worked on DEP) just to have those skills upon reading ads calling for them. That way would be ready. Anyway, any info. on MedScribe and/or my ideas I just mentioned would be appreciated.

If it's for psych acct, you don't want it. - Not worth buying Cphone ... sm

It's not good acct and pay is low, esp if you don't know Word. Learning Word would be a good idea, not buying Cphone. They're not used that much anymore and accts that use them aren't usually very good ones. Company is ok. Pay on time, nice owner. Most accts overflow so work can be slow. Best for parttime or 2nd job.

Thanks for this info! I found a free tutorial on Word (in 5 lessons) on line. Am thinking perhaps each lesson would take a couple of hours - does that sound about right? Also, do you think accts. that use C phones are not so good because they are "behind the times?" Thanks again.

Anyone know what is going on with Medscribe? There has been little to no work for weeks now with promises of more work coming in. I know they have lost a few accounts but even the accounts still there seem to be dictating a lot less than what they normally do so I wonder if they are headed on their way out too. Archives are divided -- half happy and treated well and doing the work they expected to do, paid on time, good benefits. Other half got jerked around a bit, given different kinds of work than expected, said line counts are incorrect, missed a couple of paychecks (which is strange since they do direct deposit - maybe they didn't back then.) I've been with Mediscribe, New Jersey for quite sometime as an MT. They have always been just nice people to work for. This company was on my list of companies to apply to because of positive comments posted here. I just went to their website to start the process, and this is listed under "Employee Benefits:" Taxes paid -- employer portion It is right there in the midst of vision, dental, health insurance, etc.!
