Jeanne's sign
Hand:
Froment's sign - Patient attempts to grasp piece of paper between thumb & index finger. When examiner attempts to pull away paper, terminal phalanx of thumb flexes because of paralysis of the adductor pollicis muscle, indicating positive test. If, at same time, MCP of thumb hyperextends, the hyperextension is noted as positive Jeanne's sign. If both tests are positive it indicates ulnar nerve palsy.
