Can someone please give me the condensed version of what went on in the conference call this morning!? I was in surgery, and (obviously) could not be in on it. Did they give any details on pay, schedule, timeline for transition, etc. Any info. would be appreciated, this is driving me nuts!!

at 9:30 this morning. I had already put in for the day off for surgery before I knew about the conference call. I wish I had been able to hear first hand what was said.

I had just started working for them on July 1. Back to transcribing, not ASR, and was really happy. Then thsi "conference call" this morning. I work 3rd shift and that was the middle of the night for me. You think they could have recorded it for those of us on 3rd shift. I am just devastated. I feel like Al Pacino. Every time I try to get away they just pull me back in. It's like this big black evil cloud sucking in everything across the US. What's that I hear? It sounds like Darth Vader's theme.

Didn't MQ just buy out 2 other companies just - this year? And this one is the 3rd? nm

I am to start training at Transcend on 12/27. I stuck it out with MedQuist until it became obvious that things would not stay "status quo" for much longer. I loved eTrans, and I think they were one of the last MTSOs to treat their MTs more than fairly and provide an income I could actually live comfortably live on. Any other ex-eTrans people at Transcend now that can give me some feedback on what the transition is like. Specifically, training, speech rec, etc. ...

I am tired and frustrated from applying and sending out resumes only to be ignored. It is like a game with them, I think. MedGarde even has an interview which has absolutely nothing to do with your skills or qualifications. In fact it seems like psychological testing to see if you are mentally competent or something like that. I am considering requesting this pay which (depending on the state) considers us to be on-call and must be paid for part of our shift if no work. I have had it up to here with Nuance and running out of work, adding more and more accounts and STILL no work. Got a second job and STILL being screwed by Nuance in the sense that I cannot rely on my first job (income wise), because when there is enough work they manage to screw my cpl with their lovely FIESA, then as soon as I have no errors the work ...

I applied and passed all of the testing for eTransplus as advertised on the Job Seekers Board but haven't heard anything back. Did anyone else apply and hear back yet? Just curious since I expected to hear back after successfully jumping through all of their hoops....er, passing all of their tests ;-) ...

Does anyone who's recently been hired or who have been there a while tell me what the current line counts are for those who want to be full-time employment status at Etransplus? Is there enough work during 3rd shift? Is the platform easy to use and easy to get your lines in with? How is the health insurance? I saw the premiums for the different levels but didn't see what type of coverage this is (deductible, copays, etc.). I'm a bit worried that your benefits hinge on getting your required lines in each pay period.
