Accentus was "acquired" by Nuance this past year.
To the OP.... If you apply with Accentus, make sure you'd be joining the clinic side, not acute care. I've only heard negative things from that end of things, but nothing negative (or positive yet) from the the clinic side. The clinic side goes Nuance full force, though, in the next few weeks from what I understand, so it remains to be seen what will happen over there.

Just putting the nails in the coffin I guess. Still was high line count that was unachievable in 8 hours and then work would disappear and then suddenly appear after 6 p.m....maybe all the daytime shift sent back what they did not finish, or was it nighttime in the Middle East...maybe next change, we will be getting paid in Rupees.
Hoping my fellow MTs might know if there are companies that hire for 15-20 hours a week. I can work both days of the weekends and a couple evenings per week. It's almost impossible to ascertain this information from companies' websites, and they make it difficult to contact their HR departments.

If it is going to turn around and bite them in the butt with DOL FLSA complaints? I assume the purpose is to have proof that their employees are are not working overtime, but with so many below minimum wage, can't DOL subpeona the time clock records to prove FLSA violations? Why do MTSOs require weekend coverage for every one of their accounts? I have 2 and have work up the yin yang during the week but come Saturday, I'm watching paint dry. I also was concerned about the statement in the handbook indicating that even as PT we had to put in an 8 hour day on the weekend. I contacted the appropriate person who informed me that the polices in the handbook are directed to Transcend MLSs that are hired “the normal way,” and not to the MDI MLSs who are coming in via the merger.
