Same old tired transcription companies hiring all the time - wishingtodobetter

I am currently working at a company and with the way things are going with all of these companies, I am just afraid of layoffs. It's sad to see all of the same transcription companies on the job boards hiring, and it seems by reading the boards none of them are worth working for. I sure wish when I decided to go into transcription I could have looked into the future a few years. I have been doing transcription now for 6 years. I am thankful I do have my job still and really do like where I work, but things are just shaky it seems and I just don't feel they will be around another year. Who knows, though. One plus is I'm almost through with my coding program, but who knows if I will be able to be hired without experience. I guess I can just hope and pray.
What gets me is when I would complain of a company - sm
[ In Reply To ..]not training well or whatever it was, I would comment they must not mind hiring all the time then. People would get mad and say well that just does not make sense. Well to me it does because otherwise why are the same ones always hiring??

Hiring again? Ad stated if necessary, need to provide 2-3 written references. How 'bout they do the same. Doubt if they could do that. I would expect at some point with supply and demand a lot of MTs including me will either get out of the business or go PT or retire and there will be less people looking for jobs. Just a thought. I started a job part time last week, doing 2 days a week and have been out of work 2 of the 4 days I was supposed to work and was told to flex my hours.
