The MT field is a field in which RESEARCH and READING...sm - Excuse me?

are a large part of the business. This company has been discussed quite a few times in the past few weeks to months so there is a lot of information to be found IF YOU DO THE SEARCH! On top of that, doing the search yourself saves time, as you won't have to wait for a response. If you are having a problem that you need resolved ASAP, do you wait for your supervisor to call you back and no nothing until then? Learning about a company uses the same principle!

So following your reasoning - We do not need this board?

when all that is needed to do the research. Makes me wonder what happens to her on the job - does she need hand-holding? The company that was mentioned has been discussed a LOT of times over the past couple of weeks. To either not pay attention or not to read the comments here sounds lazy, to me. As far as being "rude," the fact of the matter is that she could have avoided such a reaction by looking for the information before coming here expecting others to do the work for her. I merely bluntly stated that - sorry if the thin skins on here don't like that!

And just who are you to be telling people what to post and not post? So what if it has been discussed recently, so have most ALL posts on here for crying out loud!!!! That is what the board is for. If it irritates you so much, why read them? Why can't you just silently move on? Can you just not pass up that chance to be as rude as you can be because your identity is hidden?

Most ALL posts on here about anything are repetitive. Perhaps that particular person was not on the board that day. Perhaps she wanted to converse with someone about it today. Get over yourself, will you.

Why make disparaging remarks? BTW, not all posts here are directly related to a person's on-the-job methodology or skills. Kinda presumptive to assume they need hand-holding at work just because they post something here. There are plenty of things said/typed on this board that one would never say or do at work; it does not translate into one's actual on-the-job work performance.

Personally, I don't enjoy the posts about the work load volumes and where it presumably went/goes and some of the idiotic *presumptions* which are not based on facts. But I simply don't read them anymore. I don't feel the need to confront them with derogatory responses.

I do not find the search function here to be very good or profitable. SM - SEARCH TIP VIA GOOGLE

What I do is open a Google tab, type in site:mtstars.com and then the search terms. This loads up much more usable info (although some older pages might not be found because of the recent site restructuring). You can even type in something like:

advanced medical 2010

and you will get the most recent info.

You won't always find everything you need, but it's a start.

Now THAT was much more helpful....sm - anon

instead of using capital letters (yelling), to tell some one who asked a legitimate question and requested OPINIONS, to DO THE RESEARCH! This board is for us ladies to stick together and help each other...not to be snide and basically tell them to go somewhere else for the answer to their questions! Thank you to the second poster who gave a tip on what to do to find answers, which is much easier than going through the archives on this site, which are not very helpful, or by reading months of posts. Thanks.

Has anyone ever heard of this company? A little worried because when you ask about pay no one is sure when you get paid. When you talk to another person then you get the pay dates and the excuse is because the are a new recruiter...okay..They pay different than most places by paying you a flat fee per job and about 60% of the notes are templated out. 7 cents a line for independent contracting and for radiology? What is going on with this business? The hospitals at least treated us with hourly wages and health benefits. Now what gives? For years we fought in-house over knowing that you cannot treat radiology the same and line count it the same either, yet you work just as hard. Now, 7 cents without taking out taxes?
