Despite some negative posts, I accepted a part-time weekend position. I'm happy I didn't listen to the posts. The account is great. The platform is Extext (which I had never used) and felt comfortable with it in a couple of hours. The QA person was very accommodating with my schedule and the time it took for me to get a footpedal. They have always gotten back with me promptly with any questions or concerns, and if I want to jump on for a couple of extra hours when my schedule allows, no problem. You're pretty much left alone, as long as you do what you've promised.

This has been just MY experience.

Took a test for them last night, and I'm glad to hear that they are a good company... just waiting for them to contact me about my results. The test was pretty easy, and I hope that's an indication of the work they have available.

Did you hear back from them after testing?

I took a test for them for the oncology account but have heard nothing back...I also felt the test was easy and thought I aced it...maybe not!

I worked there for a year, leaving a year ago. I had absolutely no problem with them. Pay was always on time, no hassles about being chained to the computer, plenty of work. Iscriptor platform was okay. Left for personal reasons, nothing to do with the company. Everyone there was friendly and helpful.

Has anybody left medical transcription at home to become a medical scribe? I answered an ad for U.S. Transcription posted on MT Jobs, was asked to test, and within an hour of submitting my test I was offered a job. After my heart came down from a happy dance at an actual job offer, I found I really have some things to think about before I say yes.
