Has anyone heard of Healthcare Employment? They are, I think, located in Florida and paying from .05 to .11 cpl. They have a training program which is free but the books cost $60, but the course is not mandatory.

To get started they want $260 then payments and they are extending the "offer of free training" until 03/16.

could they have changed their name?? Their software was $450 as well, and they always said that your work was not good enough and said you would have to go through their "mentoring" program to enhance your skills. Once you completed their mentoring program, you would become a regular employee for them....only thing is, you never get through their mentoring program, you only get to do three to four files a week, and get paid about 30.00 a month to do their work for them. I wouldn't do this, if I were you!

TransAm. We call them TranSCAM here. Ther are in FL. This is the amount of money they charge for their software, which really isn't their software, but a third party's software. Most of the time it doesn't work and TranSCAM won't help you because you didn't get it from them and the third party will never be heard from again. This is the second company I have seen recently that charges this same amount for their software. TransAM has such a bad name that maybe they are operating under different names or maybe their scam is so profitable they are selling franchises.

You should not have to pay for any software ever. You may need to update your Word or buy a spellcheck/expander, but nothing else, and that would be something you would probably use for any job.

You are wise to inquire about them and I hope you are even wiser and have nothing to do with them.

Is this common practice? I've worked for them for 7 years and now they are cutting our pay?
