Does anyone have experience with this company?? Their ad doesn't give a whole lot of information. It doesn't state whether it is IC or employee status, and no mention of benefits. Beware anyone thinking about working for Ascend! They are extremely unorganized and chaotic. I don't know why they make you submit invoices - which are very time consuming to prepare - when they will just pay you something different or not at all. They shorted my first paycheck by 1/3. If you want to be paid for any work you do I would not advise working for this company. I have not been paid for "phase I" of the transcribing we were supposed to do which was supposed to be paid last week, evidently there are others according to the main board.
