Worked there several years ago. I liked the company and the people; however, it depends on the account you get. If you get one from Hades, QA will crucify you. I got that account and on a bad day fell 1 point below the expected walk-on-water rate and got a nasty note saying I would be subjected to DISCIPLINARY ACTION if I did not improve. What? I would have been at the top of my class at Harvard with a 98. Anyhow, maybe they have matured in their method of addressing those who butter their bread. For everyone's sake I certainly hope so.
If you have a choice, choose Escription - Not their platform Triton

I was offered a choice and made the wrong one. Their platform Triton is (or used to be, they might have made it better) rinky-dink and lots of freeze-ups for me anyway. Also, a lot of entering of data is required.
I think the recruiter hinted that Escription was better but somehow I thought I would have a try at the Triton (I think it pays slightly higher, but not worth it).
Personally, I only lasted through training. Even during training they kept adding new accounts and I would run out of work and be asked to make up time (this was a second job for me).
I think their QA is very good and I learnt a lot, BUT again another place that seems to spread all the work very thin and lots of accounts, which, in my experience, never really adds up to decent pay because they also have lots of specs and you are expected to be perfect with all the different accounts, which takes a lot of time.
Why oh why can't these places learn that less is more when it comes to accounts? That was my experience anyway.
Nothing has changed for Triton - still freezes, crashes, total waste. - Ladedah
I was just wondering if there was any body out there who has worked or is currently working for it. Just want the good, bad and ugly if there is any? Just tested for it and I think I did okay. ...
I've been there for almost 2 years and am trained on 2 accounts already, but they are asking me to cross-train on another escription account. It starts with a B and ends with an R. Would anyone who works on this account like to give me the low down, good, bad, and ugly, specifically how long did it take you to get up to speed and can you make decent line counts=money? ...
Does anyone know anything about PMT, Inc. in ARIZONA (or whatever else they are known by)?
''Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, PMT began operation in 1980 as MEDIPHONE and in 1986 changed its name to PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION. In 2001 the name was shortened to PMT INC.''
Do they pay on time?
Are line counts fair?
Hard to work with/for (overly picky)?
Flexible?
Etc. ...
What is the good, the bad, and the ugly with Diskriter? I am looking for information about pay, benefits, how strict they are when it comes to schedules, management, available work, etc. If you are new there, how was the interview? Was there a lot of rah-rah gibberish about how great they are to reel you in or was it professional and straight to the point? According to what I read in the archives they send you a computer, which is a bonus!
I have been with my present company for 8 ...
Hi,
I would appreciate input on Transcend please-- the good, bad, and ugly! Particularly interested in rate of pay, if pay is on time, if they hover or leave you alone to do your work, whether they're well organized or not, if there are tons of account specs or not, ease of platform use, etc.
Thanks! ...
Okay Folks, Just applied there. Give me the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Continually running out of work where I'm at (sound familiar) and I am hoping they will be busier. ...
plenty of work, platform, etc. Would really like to hear from someone that is working for them currently. I have searched archives and like with any other company, there is good and bad.
Thanks so much! ...
I got a phone call from them and they emailed me a list of available shifts, what equipment I'd need, platform, but I forgot to ask how much per line I'd be paid. The person I talked to was very nice. I just want part-time which she said would be 20 hours a week. Before I email her back asking the wages and/or I decide to accept it, I'd like any info anyone might have. I still work at MQ and don't want to leave for something just as bad, before I actua ...
I've narrowed my job search down to two companies with Amphion being one of them.
I'd appreciate it if anybody could give me an idea of their experience at Amphion with respect to pay, if their SR platform works well, how long it took you to get up to speed and earning decent money, how much SR and how much typing, etc.
Basically the stuff that you would have liked to known before you went to work at Amphion.
Thanks very much ...
Nuance. I got hired on by OSi, which was a good company, but Nuance took over, and it's becoming more and more of a nightmare every day. I am getting so miserable. The people that transferred over from OSi are great and great to work for that's what has been keeping me there, but Nuance is terrible, and they're buying out all of the good companies out there! Is Amphion any better? Any current or ex Amphioners out there? Would greatly appre ...
Would love to hear the scoop on Amphion from anyone who works there or has recently worked there. I'm thinking about applying there. How is the pay, software, and benefits, and is there plenty of work? Thanks in advance for any info I can get! ...
