We run out of work all the time with our team. Multiple accounts. No work. OVERSTAFFED.
there are plenty of posts if you do a search, but - sm

this is a big and stable company. I've been there a couple years, and find them to be one of the best MTSOs. They are more than fair with me, very flexible, pay accurate and on time, decent benefits, etc etc. I have secondary accounts but have plenty of work consistently on my main account and seldom use them. Obviously, everyone's experience varies. My team leads have been great and QA is good. I cannot think of another company, other than maybe a local hospital, that I'd rather work for.
Thank you. I guess like with any big company, - MT

it depends on the group you land in. I will try them out part time if offered the job and see where I land just so I do not jump from the frying pan into the fire. If I can get where you are, that is what I am looking for; good team leads, fair QA, ability to have secondary accounts, etc, but I have to have consistent work. My experience is acute care and that is my preference, but at my current part-time job they keep giving me their overflow clinic work a good part of the time...boring, and that does not pay as well.
If I may ask, how much of your work is Speech compared to straight transcription and what platform do you work on?
answer - sm

I am on the Bayscribe platform, as I came in on a merger. Doing only straight transcription.
a mixed bag of worms. I have plenty of work but I am on - long time trcr

beyondtxt with many accounts. They are a fair company with regard to treatment, but some of the TLs and ROMs are a little too rough around the edges and a little hard to deal with. What bothers me the most I think is the lack of communication to employees about what is going on. There is nothing uniform between the regions, so it is difficult to move around. The editor has gotten really bad so it is very hard to get a line count now. I would say my mix of VR/typing is about 95/5. They pay on time and have benefits,so that is a plus.
Agree with rough around the edges. If some of these TLs, QAs and ROMs had to - second

work under the same microscopic supervision that they are subjecting their MLS to, they would collapse and be in the funny farm for the rest of their lives. They got a little bit of power and now they think they run the world. No wonder they are always advertising for help. They need to learn how to create a nice working atmosphere, not animosity.
They need a lot of help in certain regions.. - sm

There may be some regions that are overstaffed as said below, but then there are some regions where they definitely need MLS as work is going out of turnaround time every day. They are continually adding new clients also. Pay has always been on time, very flexible schedule. VR to straight on my primary is probably average of 85/15.
Are you able to make more than minimum wage? - --

Finding as a fairly new staffer that I'm making below minimum wage earnings when considering my line count and hours worked. Physicians have personal requests for how reports should be typed constantly. Work profiles seem to change daily, so must spend time changing specifics and checking each section for profile instructions. I thought pay would be different and might be able to increase production. This hasn't happened. The pay seems ridiculously low so far.
Hi,
I would appreciate input on Transcend please-- the good, bad, and ugly! Particularly interested in rate of pay, if pay is on time, if they hover or leave you alone to do your work, whether they're well organized or not, if there are tons of account specs or not, ease of platform use, etc.
Thanks! ...
I've been there for almost 2 years and am trained on 2 accounts already, but they are asking me to cross-train on another escription account. It starts with a B and ends with an R. Would anyone who works on this account like to give me the low down, good, bad, and ugly, specifically how long did it take you to get up to speed and can you make decent line counts=money? ...
Does anyone know anything about PMT, Inc. in ARIZONA (or whatever else they are known by)?
''Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, PMT began operation in 1980 as MEDIPHONE and in 1986 changed its name to PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION. In 2001 the name was shortened to PMT INC.''
Do they pay on time?
Are line counts fair?
Hard to work with/for (overly picky)?
Flexible?
Etc. ...
I was just wondering if there was any body out there who has worked or is currently working for it. Just want the good, bad and ugly if there is any? Just tested for it and I think I did okay. ...
What is the good, the bad, and the ugly with Diskriter? I am looking for information about pay, benefits, how strict they are when it comes to schedules, management, available work, etc. If you are new there, how was the interview? Was there a lot of rah-rah gibberish about how great they are to reel you in or was it professional and straight to the point? According to what I read in the archives they send you a computer, which is a bonus!
I have been with my present company for 8 ...
Okay Folks, Just applied there. Give me the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Continually running out of work where I'm at (sound familiar) and I am hoping they will be busier. ...
plenty of work, platform, etc. Would really like to hear from someone that is working for them currently. I have searched archives and like with any other company, there is good and bad.
Thanks so much! ...
I got a phone call from them and they emailed me a list of available shifts, what equipment I'd need, platform, but I forgot to ask how much per line I'd be paid. The person I talked to was very nice. I just want part-time which she said would be 20 hours a week. Before I email her back asking the wages and/or I decide to accept it, I'd like any info anyone might have. I still work at MQ and don't want to leave for something just as bad, before I actua ...
I have an interview with Transcend soon - how does their rad pay? Is there any work? Can you actually pay your bills with your paycheck? Any feedback appreciated. ...
I am currently working for a small service, doing only clinic work. I come from over 20 years of acute care and recently started working here. I have found what I suspected is true, that I am making only a percentage of what I made in acute care. The accounts are fine, the management and QA is totally wonderful, but the 3 and 4 second reports just don't cut it. I applied to Transcend and have read much negativity about them. Just wondering if there is any good in them? I also applie ...
Just wondering if anyone who works for Transcend currently has any good things to say about them. I've seen all the bad posts on the board, so just wondering if there is any good to be said or anyone who works for them who is happy to work there. I know they have the $900/pay period instead of production limit and editing work. I was interviewed by them and I would be getting more pay per line for both typing and editing and compared to my current situation of having no wo ...
