Silent Type. I sent my resume and then sent a followup email saying I wanted to make sure they support satellite and 64-bit windows Vista, to which I got a very RUDE reply saying "We only accept resumes via silenttype.com and only if you have 5 years experience." Gee thanks!!! NOT!

I honestly don't think they read and/or comprehend sometimes. I had a similar problem not too long ago. I asked the recruiter if the version of windows I had was compatible as they did not specify, and she replied back with "as long as no one can see your passwords that you type, I don't care what year your windows are" I was so stunned by the reply...Shudder...They walk among us

when I got the other responses about missing my point. I could not help but wonder if those people comprehended. But I know what you mean. The recruiters are just plain....well...anyway:)

Typical of services in the North. I have worked for a few either in New York or Jersey and it was always the same, rudeness, crass, just plain ugly and mean. Maybe that is HOW they are anyway.

What a wonderful company Diskriter used to be. Honest and treated their employees with class. Now the company is a front for offshore transcription that provides crappy transcription service and treats employees horribly. If anyone is looking to work for this company I would think twice. Sentence dictated as "She also has a small C5/6 {s/l DISS}." He's really emphasizing the "ISS" sound. I know it would make sence for it to be disc, but the sentence sounds incomplete to me? I feel like there should be herniation or protrusion or bulging at the end of the sentence if it were "disc"? Could the "diss" sounding word be short for something? Thank you!! ...

what they offer in terms of compensation with all the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the QA/MT positions. When you read it, it sounds like the person/persons they are looking for would bring a lot of experience and talent to their company. I hear both sides. My only problem is that I have been here for 8 years and making just over half what I started at. Why would they have spent the last decade cutting, cutting, and then cutting some more only to give a raise now? Also don't like to be a negative Nellie, but just don't see them giving us a raise. I agree that it can be frustrating to read the complaining on this board, but there are so many that are struggling I really feel their pain. I have read posts about some getting fired, but seems like a few of them were months ago, a year ago etc. Only a couple I have noticed were let go recently and they all said it was due to either not making minimum wage or not meeting line counts.
