How does that work - Never a good idea

They are not going to give your job to someone else after they have already hired you, I don’t think that would be legal. Undercutting would be someone willing to accept a lesser salary. I can understand someone hearing about the same opening and applying for that and getting hired instead of someone else when there are multiple candidates, though. If there are openings at a company, anyone who has the necessary qualifications has a right to apply. Sharing leads with people is something different altogether.
