I played up all the things that made me a good MT: Attention to detail; ability to learn new software protocols; ability enter multiple hospital databases; ability to work independently, but take direction from others well. Things like that. Your MT work WILL help you. You'll be familiar with all report types, and things like that. Play it all up, but not in a bragging way.

It's nerve wracking to be sure, but many of us have done it. I was nervous as nervous could be at interviews, but my MT experience got me a job in a medical records department.

Go for it!
