This person is simply making the point that there ARE other options out there that allow you to work remotely and make good money. I did not see any bragging in that post whatsoever. Perhaps you are just jealous that they were able to get out of this lousy, miserable, dying field and do something better with their life by finding a new career path and you haven't.
