I'm at my wits end. I've worked in this field for 16 years, got a A.A.S. in health information that is obsolete because I learned on ICD-9 right before they rolled out 10. Owe student loans for a degree I can't use. Pay is crap, benefits are crap. I'm almost 46 and feel like I'm done! Every company mergers, lays off, goes to India, drops for quality (which we are all good transcriptionists, they are just tyrants).. it's ridiculous. Anybody else tired of it?
