have been in the industry since I was 21. I've tried to get jobs outside of transcription and out of hundreds of applications have had 1 interview, and it was a group one where it ended up another candidate knew the interviewer so you know who got hired. It is frustrating to be working 70 hours a week now to get what we used to get paid in 40 hours for. I just now count down the days until I can take early retirement next year but will still have to work part-time to make ends meet, but at least I can get some life back.
