AAS degree - Good luck

My opinion is that an Associate's degree is not useless. Maybe there are jobs in HIM other than coding that would work for you. I understand not wanting to spend more money, but if you still want to code, there may be ICD-10 refresher courses or boot camps that might not be too expensive so that you could take the CPC exam. It's never easy starting over, but at 46, you probably have 20 years remaining in your work life, so you still have time.
