I have worked with both men and women. Men do NOT thrive on drama like some women do. Sure, they may make inappropriate jokes/comments at times, but I have NEVER experienced men actually gossiping our being outright malicious towards one another.
Comparing boys (children) in middle school to grown men in an office setting is comparing apples and oranges. They are two entirely different scenarios. Regardless of gender, middle school kids are mean. Middle school kids gossip... constantly. We are talking about ADULTS here. The fact is, men (specifically heterosexual men) are wired differently and conduct themselves in an entirely different manner.
