Apparently you haven't worked many places. I worked in offices with males and females and men as just as gossipy as women. It is the closed-in environment, being so close to each other physically, having to take breaks together, etc - it brings out the worst in people. Also, I grew up with 3 brothers and there were only boys in our neighborhood for 4 blocks in every direction - they are very gossipy even at the middle school level Sad to see women like you who diss their own gender, as if we don't get enough disrespect from men.
