I have a Lab EMR, Imaging Studies (mammograms, DEXAs) EMR, Hematology EMR, Pulmonology EMR, and 2 PCP EMRs. Some docs I only saw one time and that was it, but my EMR accounts are still active and available thru the patient portals--I'm going to use them.

Like you, I will let my new PCP request records from my old PCP, but the new PCP will have to go by the dates I give her because some visits are bogus and did not happen. I downloaded the Release Form from my old PCP's EMR to have it handy.

I never would have believed that my doctor would have to be watched like a hawk because of billing irregularities. I'm looking forward to moving on to the new practice.
