You've described my life to a T! I could never go back to working in an office or for someone else. I raised my 2 kids on my own doing MT, on my own schedule. I was ALWAYS there for them when they needed me. I'm still the same size I was in high school. I too hike with my dog and lead a very active lifestyle, one that would probably not be possible working 8-10 hours a day for someone else. I haven't been sick in 7 years as I eat when I'm hungry, sleep when I'm tired and get plenty of sunshine and fresh air. To each their own I always say. Just my 2 cents. :)
