As for the rest, who may not have it so good working with a lot of these companies, they obviously have their reasons for staying in the industry, even under the mostly harsh conditions. The choice is theirs. People generally live life off their own timetable anyway no matter what anyone else says or thinks. I actually admire the MTs who have made their jobs work for them and on their own terms rather than the other way around.
Your characterization of MTs, who keep at this job as having some compulsion, not wanting to venture out in the world, probably fat, lazy and sick and now can't go out of their homes to work, etc., I think is so absurd. Your post is rather callous and insulting.
