Hi all. I was told I have mild to moderate hearing loss in bothe ears and need hearing aides. I asked my workplace if this is occupational related and they said the decibels are not high enough to be the cause. I thought I read somewhere a study was done in hearing loss and transcription that said lower decibels than that usually stated as dangerous is just as dangerous over long periods of time. I can't find this study but would need it to back me up. Anyone know of any study like this?? I have been transcribing at least 8 to 10 hours a day for about 15 years now.
