hearing loss - Old gray and retired MT

Posted: Feb 26th, 2020 - 10:54 am In Reply to: My hearing loss - Deaf

I have been an MT for like 40 years, now retired, but I went to an ENT doc and he referred me to his audiologist - and I had the hearing tests and I have a sensory neural hearing loss AND SHE SAID IT IS FROM TRANSCRIBING SO MANY HOURS, DAYS, WEEKS, YEARS, as I have never had a problem hearing before. I ended up getting hearing aids and when I retired I stopped going to he audiologist. I now have to go and get newer hearing aids as I am driving everyone in my house crazy with saying "what" LOL. If I were you I would talk with a lawyer for a free consultation to tslk about this. Good luck.
