Sharing some info for prospective coders - please SM

Interesting post on one of the largest coding FB pages. The admin herself posted two separate things a few days ago:

"IF any of our Group Members know of any Job Openings for CCA or CPC-A folks, PLEASE post them here!"

and

"If any of our Group Members know of any INTERNSHIPS available for new coders, PLEASE let us know!"

This is on a page with nearly a hundred active coding recruiters, coding managers, working coders and tons of others in the industry (almost 25,000 members total) There has been not ONE response to either of these posts, and the founder/admin there ALWAYS gets responses to her posts (the posts have indeed been bumped several times to no avail).

I will say that there is ONE company in Tennessee who has always had a policy for hiring brand new coders for risk adjustment coding, but you have to work/live on-site in Tennessee for up to a year before you're allowed to work from home.  If you can do that, it would be a great opportunity.

As an aside, I was in a CDP (Coder Development Program) through Career Step years ago where new coders with high scores would work in a supervised, paid, remote fashion until hired by an outside company. That program was dumped about 4 years ago and nothing was put into its place.

Please, MTs. Don't jump into this without THOROUGH research. And don't believe everything "Coder" says. It can't all be true because she posts multiple times daily on an MT FB page, so something is a bit odd there.
