file for partial unemployment? When the MTSO I worked for last year started running out of work in June, HR actually advised us to do that. There were never any payroll issues like KS, but the extra money from the EDD was a big help. I found a job locally, quit the MTSO in December and closed the claim. All of this can be done at the EDD web site. So sorry that you have to leave, but this might help for the time being. BTW, if your plans aren't final, I found the job on craigslist in the Medical/Dental section--might be worth a look. Best wishes to you!
