this is a major red flag on the health of this business. The day could come that they're not even able to meet payroll, so you're smart not to wait around for that possibility. This lame excuse about moving offices is an insult to anyone's intelligence. Wonder why they're moving--behind on their rent? Inexcusable way to treat the people who enable the business. If they can't pay as agreed, they should be honest enough to say so.
