Good for you! I was at a hospital with great pay and benefits for 3 years, then me and 100 of my coworkers were laid off to feed one of the evil stepsisters. I now work 2 jobs, one transcribing as an IC and one as a virtual scribe. Looks like most of us MTs are now low pay, no benefits workers and don't see any way to improve it. The SEIU was trying to organize us but they wanted us to pay them monthly dues w/o even formally representing us. Pffffttt.
