I started mt'ing at 18. I was lucky enough to have a MIL who was one of the first to start a home-based MT business in my state, and she taught me, very patiently I might add lol. I've been fortunate I guess in that I've always been able to find work. I also work as a midwife for our local Amish community, and have had other jobs here and there when I got tired of being home with kids. Kids are now grown and I love being at home. I can't imagine having to be anywhere at set times anymore. Just to make it out the door with pants on is a challenge after working in sweats for years lol.
