I worked for Nuance for about 5 years before being laid off. I don't remember how many lines I typed.I didn't pay much attention to that, I guess, just know I always earned minimum wage and no more. My accuracy was alway top tier.
I only know my typing speed is 70 wpm, and that's what it is if I take an online typing test. I can't imagine going any faster unless one uses AutoCorrect. And yes, AutoCorrect was used during my time at Nuance.
70 wpm is professional speed, professional meaning it's fast enough to get a job in which job description requires typing. On the other hand, something like 40 wpm isn't professional speed.
