-How fast you can transcribe (not WPM).
-How skilled you are with the various work types, medical terminology, drugs, instruments, etc.
-Familiarity with accounts and dictators' idiosyncrasies.
-How skilled you are doing accented dictators.
-Audio clarity.
-Whether cpl includes spaces.
-What your state's minimum wage is.
9 cpl would be a great rate for VR/SR (if we lived in a just world where we were paid what we're worth) but it's better than average for straight MT and was the going rate 25 years ago.
