I had gone through Career Step for MT 5 years previous, so I was able to "fast track" through their coding course (basically testing out of things I've known for years as an MT). I finished Career Step's coding course in 17 weeks, made Honors on the final, took my CPC 3 weeks later (got a 92%), was hired 3 weeks later for Pro-Fee (training on the job). I have been coding now for 19 months, and would not be here now if I wasn't able to finish CS sooner than other schools.
