Career Step - Bad idea

My advice is to avoid Career Step and use Andrews or the AAPC program. For one thing there is no way you’re going to get through that program on 4 months and retain anything you learned. I had experience with them a few years ago and there were problems with the course material in terms of incorrect information. As someone said, it depends on the type of coding you want to do, AAPC is oriented more toward ambulatory care and I think Andrews teaches both. Getting both credentials increases your chance of finding a job.
