LOL it is because I WAS a member of AHDI that I know - field is DEAD haha

AHDI is just as dead as the field. They can't scare up enough people to join.

Why would anyone join an organization that actively worked to support the big 3 that offshored the jobs?

Who really wants to send their hard-earned meager earnings on an organization that charges outrageous sums for cra*&y materials that nobody uses anymore?!!

Why would anyone feel good about signing up and only seeing posts about how they have the great opportunity to go to the AHDI Convention. Like who working in the field has money to plunk down on air fare, hotel and all the other fees that AHDI will have to attend to see what? A bunch of retired old MTs talking about the good old days when it was a viable field? Really? That is nothing but an insult.

Throughout this whole fiasco, AHDI has done NOTHING for the MTs in this country except to make clear their position that they do NOT represent MTs.

Don't look at this sham organization as any indication of the health of this field. Their motivation is the same as the MT schools - to ride this dead horse until it drops for the final and last time.
