the YouTube videos make it look so easy.

And all the ads for training show happy, contented children playing quietly at Mom's feet while she taps out a few words on the computer every now and then and collects a big paycheck.

Some of the ads show Mom apparently performing magical feats of medical transcription with her feet up, laptop in her lap, no headset, no foot pedal, no reference books in sight, smiling happily while she pokes at the computer with one hand.

Who wouldn't want a career like that?

Where do I sign up? I sure don't have anything like that with my real MT job. The job that will likely be gone in a year or less when my employer is devoured by one of the monster MTSOs and all the work goes to India.
