When your 1 of your 5 kids - is sick Posted: Aug 27th, 2017 - 5:06 pm In Reply to: Church - hansenhomemaker
Say you did take this course, got hired by a company who hires newbies, and were able to secure a 1st shift position (all unlikely, but just for kicks). What will you do when one of your five children is home sick from school? Do you think you can do the very focus-oriented, incredibly detail-oriented job being an MT requires while tending to a sick child? What about snow days? School vacations? Half days? Summer break? I'm a mom. I've done this for a very long time. I'm here to tell you, you CANNOT do this job--particularly while you are so new and inexperienced--with school-aged children needing your attention.
