I'm more surprised that a hands-on medical - person wouldnt already know - sm

that transcription barely exists anymore. More and more hospitals are using doc-operated point-n-click systems. And even if they still dictate, I'm sure there are few places a nurse would be working that even have transcriptionists anymore.

The course being offered may be fantastic, but these days it would be of about the same usefulness as taking a fantastic course in running a TeleType or a plug-in switchboard.
