Why do nurses or other hands-on medical people - think they can whip this work out SM Posted: Jun 27th, 2017 - 3:30 pm In Reply to: thanks - Lucy
in no time, easy peasy, because they are familiar with terminology?
I'm very familiar with terminology, so I should be able to go jump right into nursing care without a hitch. I'd start out as a LPN, but I'd be promoted to RN, ADN, BSN in no time because I'm familiar with terminology!!!
You need to be able to understand the dictators, honey, think of the worst ESL doctors you've ever worked with, and try to transcribe that without blanks, and keep up with 165 lines per hour quotas or you get put on PM. And in all fields of medicine, not just the ones you're familiar with.
Yeah, what the heck, go for it, then come back in a year and cry on this board.
