What she means is that when you have completed the course and passed the testing, she will write you a letter of reference stating that you have completed transcription for her in a correct and timely manner, which is totally true. This letter can then be used by you as a reference in your job search. If her policy has not changed from the time of my graduation, this is what she means. I still have my letter of reference, I scanned it into my computer years ago. It got me my first job at a local practice and eight months after that (a bunch of us were downsized and laid off in one day), I got my first remote job at MedWare with only eight months of experience on my resume. The MedWare recruiter took a chance on me because of my test score and because of Deborah's reference letter.
