I think that is crazy they did it this way. They should have at least split the difference,50/50 between them and the transcriptionist. Why do we always have to shoulder the loss? I used to work for them and they were a fairly good company but this is ridiculous. I understand we don't type those lines, but like the poster said above, most of the time you still have to listen to them say it all and that is time spent that you could be transcribing other lines you would get credit for.
