Lately it seems like they are micro-managing us even more. To me using 14 individual statistics on every MT is overkill when it really should be 3. Those 3 should include meeting quality, lines and meeting your hours (not monitoring every single minute like Mmodal does). When working in-house I know I was never monitored the way I am now. We should be able to get up once every hour or two to take a break as long as we meet our LPH.
My HSDM said we should just stay at our desk and in her words "get in the zone." I can do that sometimes but there are times when I get the worst dictators that I need to get up for a few minutes and take a break. There is no way I can sit the whole 8 hours, it is not healthy.
