It is not normal to micromanage employees to death the way MM does. It is plain abuse and they should be prosecuted for such abuse.
My wish is everyone working for that horrible, sorry excuse of a company up and quits all at once. MM does not deserve you.
There are companies out there that don't treat their MT's like this. I am lucky enough to work for one, working when I want, as much or as little as I want, which makes me want to work harder and produce more than I ever did slaving for MM.
My heart goes out to you. You should not have to be stressing about something so darn trivial.
