new compensation plan - crazy armadillo

Wasn't it some time ago that they supposedly were working on this. They had in place many years ago paying for difficult dictators and I never really saw any real compensation for that, then it just went away. Don't quite understand about the "paying different for time of day," as I do get a shift differential of .075 after 10 pm CST. It would be great if they broke it down even further and paid more for different times. That would be great to pay more to productive employees but I can see where that might get nipped in the bud as some would be focused on production and not quality and then they'd start complaining about that. I agree with you that we really cannot expect much, but I'm just wondering how high priority these possibilities are on their list. You know how they've been - they put a carrot out in front of the horse and hope that it quiets the noise and complaining about all of the things that need fixing for us to really be productive.

My one big complaint is that WE HAVE TO ASK FOR A RAISE IF WE WANT ONE, which is not always guaranteed. We should be reviewed on a yearly basis and receive something for cost of living as well. Their tier restrictions for the levels is simply not fair. What does one have to look forward to if they're at the top of their tier and know that they won't receive any raise even if they are doing excellent work. To me that is simply counterproductive. I'm not saying anything that hasn't been said on this board before, but guess it just feels good to express it again.
